Modern ASIC miners such as the Antminer S21 operate with several kilowatts of power consumption per device. This energy is almost entirely converted into heat. Without a high-performance cooling system, chip temperatures rise quickly, leading to efficiency losses, unstable hash rates, and reduced hardware lifespan.
Especially under continuous full-load operation, maintaining a constant temperature is essential. Overheating causes thermal throttling and worsens J/TH efficiency values. Professional cooling therefore not only ensures safety but directly improves profitability.
A 12 kW water cooling system is perfectly designed to reliably cool two Antminer S21 units. Depending on configuration, two devices can generate up to 10 to 11 kW of waste heat. The 12 kW cooling capacity provides sufficient headroom for stable temperatures and continuous full-load operation.
Thanks to consistent heat dissipation, the hash rate remains stable, downtime is minimized, and there is additional room for efficient performance optimization.
The 12 kW water cooling system from Lian Li is designed for continuous high-load operation in mining environments. The system uses a powerful industrial pump, an efficient heat exchanger, and precise temperature control to ensure consistent cooling performance.
With its closed-loop water system, heat is efficiently removed without unnecessarily heating the surrounding environment. The compact design allows integration into existing rack or container setups, enabling a clean and structured installation.
Compared to traditional air cooling, water cooling offers significantly higher thermal conductivity. Heat is removed directly from the chips rather than being distributed through airflow.
The result is lower and more stable operating temperatures, reduced noise levels, and higher efficiency during continuous operation. At the same time, dust accumulation is reduced, lowering maintenance requirements and failure risks. For high-performance ASIC miners, this creates a far more professional and sustainable cooling solution.
Stable cooling has a direct impact on profitability. Consistent temperatures prevent thermal throttling and ensure that ASIC miners operate continuously at optimal hash rates. This keeps efficiency in joules per terahash stable and maximizes the conversion of electricity into computing power.
Additionally, the risk of heat-related failures decreases. Less downtime means predictable returns and longer hardware lifespan. Investing in a 12 kW water cooling system can therefore deliver significant technical and economic benefits.
A 12 kW water cooling system is ideal for operating two high-performance ASIC miners like the Antminer S21. It ensures stable temperatures, consistent hash rates, and reduced risk of failure.
For ambitious miners focused on long-term efficiency and professional infrastructure, a high-performance water cooling system represents a future-proof solution.
